WHAT'S NEW?

In the Fall and Thanksgiving Spirit

Part I: Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

On Monday, I had the wonderful opportunity to host a Friendsgiving. We spent the entire morning cooking and baking everything from veggies (thank you again, Talia, for some amazing green beans and garlic) to berry cobbler to apple pie (props to Gracie for making pie dough on the spot from memory). In honor of tradition, I created table cards for the six of us (though I neglected to take a photo of them). This has nothing to do with calligraphy, but feel free to check out the gallery below for some fun photos from the kitchen!

Part II: Post Thanksgiving:

In an effort to celebrate my favorite season, I thought I'd prevent the leaves in my backyard from simply going to waste. My aunt inspired me years ago with her small package of dried leaves, so I thought I'd try the same! I look forward to pasting them onto presents and cards.
