Senior Photo Shoot–Calligraphy Shots
Just last weekend, I picked up my close friend and photographer, Shannon Hillyard, to drive a little ways away for my senior photo shoot! I usually prefer to be behind the camera, so this was both new and fun for me.
While the first half of my photos consisted of posing with succulents and sitting among other plants, the second half took place at The Coffee Shop where I brought along some of my calligraphy supplies. After all, senior shoots are all about you, along with the places and activities you value most (to paraphrase the words of wisdom Shannon gave me prior to the shoot).
The pictures turned out wonderfully! Really, I don't consider myself a photogenic person, but Shannon's photography skills are outstanding. Here are just a few of the shots she took:
Shannon is one of the sweetest people I know and couldn't have made me feel more comfortable while taking what are usually very posed, seemingly unnatural pictures. I received a set of over forty photos within a week of taking them, all meticulously edited by Shannon herself.
